Jim Boulton

Role: Content Director
Mission Impossible Alter Ego: Rollin Hand

Achieving a degree of fame and notoriety for presenting the cult 'Rurality Show' on Peterborough FM, Jim has had a long association with music and entertainment, which he has mixed in alongside his full-time work of being a qualified designer for 30 years in the world of luxury boats and 'super yachts'.

Needless to say, this has been a career which has taken him all over the world.

From production to sales and marketing, he has a wide experience in luxury and lifestyle products and the world of business, whilst dealing with demanding clients and key decision makers at all levels. These skills will assist in all aspects of our training packages.

Jim comes from an artistic and musical family which includes professional musicians, artists, writers, film and media producers and directors. His own journey started at the age of 15 as a mobile and nightclub DJ, which resulted in test broadcasts for BBC Radio Northampton. He was a regular on the Lunchtime Music Show in the mid-80s, broadcasting on the Southampton Institute campus radio network as well as several club residencies.

His legendary 'Los Palmos Disco' has seen him appear at functions from Northampton to Spalding with numerous large arena appearances as a host, compere and charity fundraiser. In recent years he has reinvented himself as a radio broadcaster and music festival compere, appearing at events such as the Peterborough Beer Festival and 'Woofstock' in Yarwell.

Along with his son he now runs Infinity Entertainment, which keeps him about as up-to-date and 'down with the kids' as you can get! With a passion for sport and his local community, Jim hopes that the Hereward Television project will generate an interest and appreciation in the diversity and talents of the greater Peterborough and Fenlands area.
